How to Disable the Group Photo Option in PUBG
Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is a royal online battle game developed and released by South Korean by PUBG Corporation. The game is based on previous mods created by Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene for other games, inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale and expanded to a self-service game in the creative direction of Greene. In this game up to 100 players with parachute land on an island with weapons and equipment to kill others and avoid themselves being killed. The available safe area on the game map decreases over time, forcing survivors to meet in tighter areas. The final player or staff win the round.
PUBG first applied its Early Access Beta Program to Microsoft Windows in March 2017 with full release in December 2017. Microsoft Studios released the game for Xbox One that same month through Xbox Game Preview and it was officially released in September 2018. In addition to a PlayStation 4 port, PUBG Mobile, the free-to-play mobile game version for Android and iOS, was released in 2018. In April 2020, a version was released for the Stadia streaming platform. PUBG is one of the best-selling, most accumulated and played all-time video games. In addition to PUBG Mobile, which has reached1 billion downloads since March 2021 and increased to over $4.3 billion in mobile devices by December 2020, it sold over 70 million copies on personal computers and game consoles by 2020.

PUBG Mobile is one of the world’s most successful fighting royal games and has become increasingly popular in recent months. The game has changed the gaming community drastically, allowing fans to remain connected with friends and entertain themselves
To improve the player experience, Tencent Games keeps adding new features to PUBG Mobile. The Patch Notes for the PUBG Mobile V0.19.0 Update introduced ‘Spark The Flame,’ a themed game mode available in Classic Mode on the Erangel and Miramar maps. A short time after the update, they released a small patch that added a “group photo” option, and many players are dissatisfied with the button’s placement.
The position of the group photo option is causing issues for players, in addition to crowding the interface. Because the group photo option is so close to the primary fire button on the screen, some players are accidentally hitting it in the middle of a firefight and dying.

Disabling the Group Photo Option
Tencent hasn’t yet made it possible to turn off the Group Photo feature on the maps. The group photo option, on the other hand, appears to be triggered primarily when the player is near friends, near one of the tents or statues in the Spark The Flame game modes, or in the initial spawn area before the match begins.
Staying a few metres away from friends at all times is one way to avoid the group photo option getting in the way. This prevents the option from appearing on the screen.

Small statues that burn when interacted with were also added by the Flame. Supplies and event items would be left behind. There’s also a massive statue that’s in various stages of construction. It will burn down once it reaches the final stage. A statue camp with tents is also available.
You can enter these tents to get supplies. When players are near these tents and special areas, the group photo option is also activated. To disable the Group Photo option, stay away from these tents and statues.
Many players have expressed their dissatisfaction on social media, requesting that Tencent add a setting to disable the Group Photo option in the control settings so that gameplay is unaffected.
