Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is a royal online battle game developed and released by South Korean by PUBG Corporation. The game is based on previous mods created by Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene for other games, inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale and expanded to a self-service game in the creative direction of Greene. In this game up to 100 players with parachute land on an island with weapons and equipment to kill others and avoid themselves being killed. The available safe area on the game map decreases over time, forcing survivors to meet in tighter areas. The final player or staff win the round.
PUBG first applied its Early Access Beta Program to Microsoft Windows in March 2017 with full release in December 2017. Microsoft Studios released the game for Xbox One that same month through Xbox Game Preview and it was officially released in September 2018. In addition to a PlayStation 4 port, PUBG Mobile, the free-to-play mobile game version for Android and iOS, was released in 2018. In April 2020, a version was released for the Stadia streaming platform. PUBG is one of the best-selling, most accumulated and played all-time video games. In addition to PUBG Mobile, which has reached1 billion downloads since March 2021 and increased to over $4.3 billion in mobile devices by December 2020, it sold over 70 million copies on personal computers and game consoles by 2020.
PUBG mobile is expected to update significantly, especially on the Erangel map, which is the most widely used map of the game. Reports suggest that the revised Erangel map version has been revealed in the Chinese game’s beta Game for Peace version. According to a Sporstkeeda report, the map has received several graphics and mechanical changes and improvements. The Chinese version, known as Game for Peace, has revealed features such as route planner, vehicle control customization and Ultra HD graphics.
The new Erangel map, commonly known as Erangel 2.0, is expected to soon become a part of the global circuit although it has already become a part of the Chinese gaming circuit.

The route planner helps to plan a player’s route beforehand. The player will be able to point some locations in advance to help him make a planned route as the waypoints. This would help players to go the exact route without opening the map repeatedly.
Settings for Ultra HD Graphics:
This option was added to Game for Peace’s beta version. This is the case, though, in the global version of the PUBG mobile game but not in the beta version.
Customization of vehicle control: Adding this feature allows players to further customise their vehicle control while driving. The layout can be adjusted and fixed anywhere on the screen like the motion and shooting controls. PUBG is still not able to adjust the control positions, although three different layouts are available. As it stands, while the map was leaked in the beta of the Chinese version of the game, the new map of Erangel should officially be shown in the global version. PUBG fans may have to wait a few more days for this new version of the game to be heavily consumed.
The hype around the Battlegrounds Mobile India (PUBG) has increased since the pre-registration process started. There have been several leaks regarding the release date of the game, which has kept fans on their toes. Furthermore, several fake APK files of the title have appeared on the internet. The developers have tamed Erangel and Sanhok maps through a number of artworks on the official social media handles of the title.
The name of the map, however, has left many players wondering. A while ago, also, several photos of Sanhok’s Ban Tai location were uploaded.
The description of Battlegrounds Mobile India in the Google Play Store reads:
“BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA is a game made for Indians. The battle royale game will be released with exclusive India-specific in-game events, outfits, and features and will have its own esports ecosystem with the regular stream of tournaments and leagues. Be sure to tune in the first week itself to check out amazing launch week events and exclusive outfits to be won!”
The official announcement of the game also contained a similar description, in which Krafton discussed the unique events and features. The next title will therefore come with tailor-made content to meet the Indian players.
Users can expect to be present at the time of release of exclusive events including outfits and other rewards.
