Recently Amazon was quite in discussions with all of its leaks and various rumours. But an appropriate answer has been given to all those questions with the launch of completely new Kindle Fire tablets and a new set of e-readers named as Kindle Paperwhite.

Kindle fire HD tablet is an upgrade to its previous version, Kindle Fire tablet which was launched in 2011 and was quite popular. The Kindle Fire tablet is available in 3 variants, one having a size of 7 inches and the other two being of 8.9 inches. The 7 inches Kindle Fire HD has a screen resolution of 1200* 800 pixels and the display have polarizing filters and anti glare surface making it quite comfortable to read the texts, even under the glared sunlight. The processor has been upgraded to dual core 1.2 GHz from the prior one of 1GHz processing speed. This tablet is having dual Wi-Fi antennae for better connectivity which is also an upgrade to the previous version. However the 7 inch variant is not supporting 3G mode in it.
The another variant having a size of 8 inches is coming with a resolution of 1920 * 1200 pixels and is possessing a 1.5GHz OMAP4470 dual core processor and a dedicated graphics chip to enhance the performance of display. This variant also has dual band Wi-Fi with 4G mode compatibility. One of the features that its customers nay like is the Dolby certified dual audio speakers which is expected to give quite a better experience to its audio.
The 7-inch tablet is coming in 16 and 32 GB of storage while the other one having bigger screen size is also having larger storage of 32 and 64 GB. The Kindle Fire HD tablets have Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system embedded in it.
Price
The 7-inch Kindle Fire will cost $199and $299 for 16 and 32 GB storage respectively. The bigger one has been set for $299 and $369 for 16 and 32 GB. Further the 4G variant have been priced a bit higher than the former ones at $499 and $599 for 32 and 64 GB respectively.

This e-reader uses a patented front illuminated system that allows the user to extend its use even in dark. The screen has 25% more contrast and 62% more resolution which brings the pixels count to 212. The e-reader has battery life of around 8 weeks which means it can handle 1000 books in one time. The Kindle Paperwhite e-reader is Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi with 3G compatibility mode costing $119 and $179 respectively. However the storing capacity is same for both to 2 GB and external cloud storage.
Price
The Kindle Paperwhite e-reader is coming in two variants having cost of $119 and $179 where the latter have an extra feature of 3G mode compatibility. Despite of all these facts, what can make Indian consumers sad is that till now there has been no such information about them hitting the Indian market.
