PUBG Creator
We’re all familiar with the game, but do we know who’s behind it? PUBG is said to have been created by Brendan Greene. After reading the Hunger Games novels, the Irish-born game developer came up with the concept for the game. Greene is reported to have had no prior experience with programming and had to study it in order to create the game. Greene has said that the game’s sequel, allegedly titled PUBG 2, is not on the schedule and may never be produced since he is done with Battle Royale in general.
The Name’s Origin
As previously stated, the full name of PUBG is PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The name seems a little strange and unrelated, but there’s a solid explanation behind it. It’s because Brendan Greene, the game’s designer, was himself an ardent gamer, and his player name in the games he played was Player Unknown. Everything makes a lot more sense now.
The Most Expensive Item in the Game
One of the rarest things in PUBG is the Virtual Red Bandana. When the game was first released in 2017, pre-orders came with the item and could be found in loot boxes. After a period, the bandana was no longer included in the boxes, and its rarity skyrocketed. The same year, Kotaku claimed that a user paid US$ 1000 for an in-game item (Rs. 69,000).

It was spoken during the Great Depression, a time of economic turmoil in the 1930s when many gambled. They could buy a chicken for supper if they played for money and won. With time, the term gained popularity and evolved into what it is now. Fortunately, we won’t have to take a chance to receive our chicken meal.
Pochinki Is Real!
There’s no need to explain what Pochinki is if you’ve played the Erangel map enough in PUBG. Because it is in the midst of the map and offers ideal hiding locations, it has become well-known. But did you know that Russia has numerous rural towns called Pochinki? Another well-known location on the map is Yasnaya Polyana, which has a writer’s house museum as well as the former home of famed novelist Leo Tolstoy. In PUBG, I guess there’s more to reality than there is to fiction.
