More about VALORANT
GAMEPLAY
Valorant is a near-future team-based first-person shooter. Agents are people from many nations and cultures that gamers control. In the main game, competitors are divided into offensive and defensive teams of five. In addition, agents have a unique ultimate ability that needs charging via kills, deaths, orbs, or objectives. Starter pistols and signature ability charges are given to each player. Other weapons and ability charges may be gained through an in-game economy depending on previous round results, kills, and accomplish goals. Sidearms and primary weaponry such as submachine guns, shotguns, machine guns, assault rifles, and sniper rifles are covered. Automatic and semi-automatic weapons are available, each with its own unique firing pattern. There are presently 18 agents available. In addition to this, there is a character named Neon and a KAY/O character named Brimstone.
Unrated
The match is played as a best of 25 in the usual non-ranked style, with the first team to win 13 rounds winning the match. The Spike is a bomb-like weapon used by the assaulting side. They must deliver and trigger the Spike at one of the many places listed (bomb sites). The assaulting team receives a point if they successfully defend the triggered Spike for 45 seconds before it detonates, killing everything in a particular region. The defensive team wins a point if it can deactivate the spike or if the 100-second round timer runs out without the assaulting team triggering the spike. The attacking team scores a point if all members of a team are eliminated before the spike is triggered, or if all members of the defending team are eliminated after the spike is activated. If both teams win 12 rounds, the match is decided by sudden death, with the winning team of that round winning the match, as opposed to overtime in competitive matches. Additionally, if a team decides to forfeit a match after four rounds, they may seek a vote to surrender. If the decision is unanimous, the winning team receives full credit for every round they need to reach 13, while the forfeiting team receives no credit. A team has just two opportunities to surrender: one as attackers and the other as defence.

DEATH MATCH
On August 5, 2020, the Deathmatch mode was released. 14 players compete in a 9-minute free-for-all battle, with the winner being the first player to achieve 40 kills or the player with the most kills at the end of the time limit. Players start with a random agent, and throughout the match, all powers are deactivated, allowing for pure gunplay. Green health packs drop after every kill, giving the player full health, armour, and ammo, unless the player is carrying a machine gun, in which case the player just gets an extra 30 rounds.
Released
In October of this year, Valorant was teased with the moniker Project A. A gameplay video titled “The Round” was released on YouTube on March 1, 2020, announcing the game. On April 7, 2020, the game’s closed beta became available. Players had to sign up for accounts with both Riot Games and the streaming platform Twitch, as well as watch relevant broadcasts, in order to be eligible for a beta access key. The game will be completely published on June 2, 2020, once the beta period has concluded.
