The release of Minecraft Caves and Cliffs Part 1 is just a few days away. In addition to implementing a number of new features in the 1.17 update, Mojang has rolled out a new Bedrock beta version today.
Due to the frequent pre-release phases of Java Edition, Mojang was also careful to make sure the Java Edition “bedrock” version was up-to-date with all the new features. The developers are putting in long hours in preparation for the upcoming 1.17 update, which is expected to be released on June 8th.
Unlike Java Edition, Bedrock Edition doesn’t follow pre-release or snapshot systems. Developers will release pre-release versions of the experimental game content in order to allow beta players to provide feedback. Today, Mojang released a beta version of Minecraft Bedrock 1.17.10.21, Minecraft 1.17.10.21 Beta.
The new features are available to players for testing through the latest beta release. The latest version of Minecraft, 1.17.10.21, adds a pot of potted azalea, flowering azalea, and fixes a number of bugs.
A beta version of Minecraft Bedrock is available free of charge for all players with a copy of Minecraft. Players must register for the beta programme to download the beta programme. Read the developers’ official instructions before registering for the beta programme:
A work-in-progress version of Minecraft is added to the beta.
During beta previewing, players will not have access to Realms and will not be able to join non-beta players.
Any worlds played in the beta cannot be opened in the previous versions of the game, so please do not lose worlds.
Beta constructs can be unstable and are not the final version quality representative.
How to choose Xbox and Windows beta for Minecraft?
To sign up for beta for Xbox and Windows, use the Xbox Insider app.
The beta can be enrolled by Android Players on the Minecraft Playstore page.
Note that it can take up to 24 hours to unroll from Minecraft Beta.
Note: The beta Minecraft 1.17.10.21 on Android devices is not available. But in a future release, players can still choose to download the beta.
Players can download them from their respective device stores after registering for the beta version. Tap the Caves and Cliff option for experimental updates when you build a new world.
Players can lose access, in the beta version, to functions like reels. Just opt out of beta and return to Minecraft regularly
Steps of Xbox opt-out:
Open and unroll the Xbox Insider Hub App.
Minecraft Uninstall.
Hard reset the console by holding the power button down, waiting 10 seconds until the console is switched off and turning the console on.
Remove Minecraft from the Games & Apps Ready to Setup section.
Opt-out steps for Windows 10:
First, make sure your worlds are backed up!
Open the app and unroll from beta to the Xbox Insider’s Hub.
