Even though there has been a lot of apprehension about the release of the new iPhone 6 and its possible improvements, so far it seems to be a fair bit ahead both in size and technology. The wait for the release of this new iPhone is not long at all but here’s what you need to know first.

The usual iPhone’s come with a 4 inch screen; however the iPhone 6 is being released first with a 4.7 inch screen. There is also an issue about Apple later releasing a 5.5 inch screen which is rather large when we’re talking about phones. It is even bigger than Samsungs flagship Galaxy S5 which is supposed to a have a 5.1 inch screen. It was also initially suggested that it might have a rounded screen but more recently it has been noted that it will have the usual flat screen.

The newest version of the iPhone is said to have a 1,810 mAh battery which is pretty decent compared to the already raved about 1,560 mAh battery in the iPhone 5S. This battery is rumoured to be coupled with the 4.7 inch iPhone 6. The 5.5 inch iPhone is supposed to be having a 2,915 mAh which is quite a big difference. This fact is, however, unverified as of the moment.

Even though Apple already uses sapphire and gorilla glass on a number of its screens with a recently opened sapphire manufacturing branch, Apple is rumoured to be using a super tough sapphire glass display which is being produce by GT Advanced Technologies. This is the company that already produces the glass lenses and glass for the Touch ID on the iPhone 5s. There are a number of rumoured possibilities for the screen resolution like a possible 1334x750p with 326 ppi for the 4.7 inch model and 1920x1080p with 401 ppi for the 5.5 inch model.

Initially it was rumoured that the iPhone 6 may stick to the 8 megapixel camera sensors found in the iPhone 5, 5S and 5C but reportedly the iPhone 6 may have a 13 megapixel camera sensor from Sony. Apple is also supposedly working with InvenSense – an optical image stabilization company to reduce the effects of a shaking phone in pictures and videos.

Along with the new phone, Apple might launch iOS 8 which has a bunch of new features and apps like HealthKit which allows users to keep track of their health and fitness and incorporates information from the Nike+ and other health oriented apps. It has also modified and upgraded a number of their other apps like iCloud Drive access and QuickType keyboard, etc.
Release Date of iPhone 6
According to a number of media sources Apple is set to release the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 in on the 9th of September and launch the 5.5 inch iPhone 6 towards the end of the year or early in 2015. The company is expected to have ready anywhere between 70 to 80 million units of the iPhone 6.
